I have to take this moment to just flat out complain about people using their wide screen cellular devices that are plenty capable of doing hi res video, only they do it in PORTRAIT MODE! It sucks! This is no way to present video.
For instance today there was a terrible plane crash in Reno Nevada today at an annual air show. I plain nose dived straight to the ground only 200 feet from onlookers.
This was devastating and I quickly went to YouTube and found only 3 videos had been uploaded so far. The clearest video you can tell was from maybe an iphone or android phone only the person didn’t turn the phone sideways to take advantage of the widescreen recording. This makes the video awful and you cannot see a lot of what is going on. Here is the link the the video and also a screen shot to show you what I mean.
Look at the wasted space on each side of the video. This sucks!
Look at this same thing on Facebook. Its soo much better in widescreen.

Well guess what? Me being the avid yard cutter that I am I ordered this thing and I was really amazed. I got it in the mail today and attached it really really easily and I was insane at cutting grass. Its so buck wild in fact that I had to actually take two of the four strings off it. It was too much for my weed eater.
With two lines on it, its cutting fantastic! I am just amazed.
This is really the first time I saw something on TV and ordered it and it actually worked out well.
If you need to soup up your weed eater and are tired of bumping it on the ground to get more line, get this!
Its snowing once again here in North Mississippi. For those of you that dont know, this is a rare event to get ANY snow at all here in Mississippi and this year it has snowed 3 times.

The ipad 2 was unveiled this week for a select few and I was lucky enough to take one home. Meeting CEO of Apple Steve Jobs was amazing and I thank him tremendously for allowing me to demo this beta unit of the iPad 2 with new higher screen resolutions.
Well its been a long time since we had a really good snow storm so I guess for all of use southerners we were due. Yep we had a pretty good one, getting about five inches around my house. Everyone was freaking out as they usually do. Going to Wal-Mart and buying up all the bread. I am amazed and the crazies that always over react to events. I mean its not like the snow is never going to melt, and this is not the first time its ever snowed in the great state of Mississippi!

This is the first time however that The Weather Channel took lodging in our great town of Grenada, MS to cover the winter storm surge. It was pretty cool too.
While this was going on, I was super excited about going hunting in the snow. My brother in law and I went trekking in the snow about 1.3 miles from base camp in a blizzard no doubt and we loved it! I took my other brother in laws dog with me (Jake) and we had ourselves a good ole time.
Before I left out on my hunting trip I set up an older iPhone 3G in my backyard to catch pictures of the falling snow and later I would put to together a time lapse video of it. I think I set it up at 1 pm on Sunday 1-09-11 and told it to stop taking pictures every five seconds at 6 pm on 1-10-11. I used an app called iTimeLapse that I got from the app store, it was only 99 cents.

Oh and about the dog house heaters I wrote about not too long ago… they are doing great as you can see here there is no snow on top of the dog house. They are nice and warm in side. The water on the side of the house has a warmer wrapped around it to keep the water from freezing.
